The White Canyon, a splendid example of eroded sandstone, its floor awash with white powdered sand. It’s narrow, winding path opens up to plateaus of harsh desert and then narrows again, until the exit at the oasis of Ain Khudra. It’s beautiful place with date palms and water springs which has been home to Bedouin tribes for over one thousand years.
In the Sinai desert you can find an unusual formation made by sand and wind that looks like a mushroom so named Mushroom Rock.
We start at 08:00 AM from Dahab drive by jeep to White Canyon. There we have 1 hour for walking. We visit Ain Khudra Oasis, drink bedouin tea there.
Then we drive for 40 min to see the Mushroom Rock. We stay there about 20 min. Then you will have lunch in Bedouin Village.
After lunch we go walking for 1 hour throw Salama Canyon. Then we drive for 20 min to the Inscription Rock. We return to Dahab at 04:00 PM.
